[ Oh, a teddy bear. But Namazuo did say he was trying to win it for his master, so who is Souji to judge? He’ll just tease him about it later. ]
As I wish, huh? [ His eyes narrow in amusement as he lifts his sword. ] Hear that? It’s just you and me now.
[ Souji still sounds like this is one great big joke, but his eyes are cold and his hands are steady. Whatever the conclusion the carnie makes about Souji’s resolve, he’s clearly not going to stand there and get killed by this psycho samurai dude and so, darts towards the nearest exit. ]
[ Which is coincidentally right next to Namazuo. ]
[The thing is, Namazuo is still a spirit. He has a body of flesh and blood, yes, and there are limits to his capabilities, definitely. But he isn't human, and neither is his body. Not really. Despite his cheerful nature and his unwillingness to fight without good reason, he is still, at the end of the day, a sword.
So maybe it's not that surprising when the carnie crumples, letting out a yelp of pain. To the oblivious onlooker, Namazuo hadn't moved at all--but Souji probably saw the subtle shift in his step, the angle of his body and the well-timed jerk of his shoulders as he'd rammed the hilt of his sword straight into the assistant's solar plexus. He may not be a very strong sword, but his speed and the momentum of the would-be escapee made the perfect combination to knock the air out of him and send him sprawling.
He really doesn't like cheaters.]
Don't think I will let you cheat someone else so easily.
[ It’s not as if Souji thought Namazuo was incapable of the move he just pulled. Rather, seeing Namazuo put the carnie down without so much as a breath only confirms what Souji’s thought of him all this time. ]
[ A nice guy, but totally willing to murder for Honor. ]
[ Or something like that, anyway. ]
[ Souji looks down at the carnie gasping for air on the ground, kicking him casually to stop him from getting to his feet. ]
Give it up. You’re lucky he went easy on you.
[ There's a second -- a cold shine to Souji's eyes where he totally considers murder, before he sheathes his blade and directs his attention back to Namazuo. ]

Are you sure you don't want to kill him?
